Delegates who attend this programme are normally keen to extend their skill set beyond Performance Coaching and are now ready to work with clients on a more transformational level.

This is a natural extension of what has been previously learnt on the Happiness Accelerator Coach Programme and is appealing to those who want to be able to initiate change and support their clients through emotional transition in any area of life.

A 5 day programme (dependent on numbers) with the minimum standards as follows:

On completion of the programme, the Transition Coach (level 1) will be able

to demonstrate the relevant level of competence in:

Establishing/Renewing permission and rapport

Measuring sensory responses

Forming the Coach to Coachee relationship

Working within professional boundaries

The ethics of coaching

The concept of dissonance

Establishing baseline measurements

Determining the coachee’s level of need

Bypassing critical resistance within the coachee

The principles of ownership

The power of questions

Coachee motivation and focus

Changing negative mindsets

Measuring coachee progress

Creating meaningful goals

Use of feedback for focus and motivation

Anchoring the future

Action planning

They will also be able to demonstrate the following additional components:

Take a detailed personal history of the coachee

Establish a behavioural baseline for change or referral

Determine interventions that are suitable for change

Include Bio/Psycho/Social measurements for change

Carry out a one to one session creating personal change using the interventions within the award

Utilise the Pace/Change/Integrate Model throughout

Seek peer review and mentorship for professional development with a reflective diary

Work within the limitations of the award

The programme facilitates all learning styles and includes theory affirmed by one to

one coaching practice. All delegates can be expected to receive one to one coaching

as part of the programme to establish a level of congruence and understanding of its’ use with other coachees.

On completion of the programme, all coachees are offered the opportunity to

connect with a mentor that is suitably qualified and experienced.

This is a certified training and all coaches are advised to work within the limits of the award.
